Professional Development Fund
During the 2024 Spring Meeting of the Wisconsin Section, Gary Britton, former chair of the UW Colleges Department of Mathematics, announced that Universities of Wisconsin faculty/staff who teach freshman or sophomore math classes are now eligible for funding through the Washington County Charitable Foundation. At the present time, approximately $1,200 per academic year is available. Details of eligibility and the application process are described in the linked PDF below. This is funding that was initially established in 1988 for mathematics faculty in the UW Colleges.
